Leia Browning
Leia Browning is a Texas native, originally from San Antonio. She attended MacArthur High and graduated in the very first graduating class of Ronald Reagan High School in 2000. She then attended LSU as a Musical Theatre major and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She transferred back to Texas to complete her coursework and graduated from UNT in 2004 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree.
After college, Leia took the assistant choir director position at South Garland High School for 2 years and was then promoted to head director for the next 5 years. She now continues at Rockwall High for her 9th year of teaching.
Leia was a Texas All State Choir member in 1999 and 2000, All Region Choir member from 1997-2000, received numerous awards for Solo Competitions, and is very active at First United Methodist Church in Garland.
Mrs. Browning is married to Eric Browning, a Garland native, whose family owns Browning Trophies and Awards, which celebrated it's 50th year in business in 2012. They have a son, Lucas, who will be years old in November.
